What are these wads made out of? Are they plastic and cheap, are they actually wood or something else??

Unfortunately, all the serial numbers are the same. There is no way to tell which is which. I have the elder wand, Ginny weasley, and viktor krum... all three show a serial number on the box and the wand of 520 042519. So the review in this listing is incorrect. Sorry.

Very surprisingly durable and quite detailed! Actually feels like a usable magic wand. Definitely more for decorative purposes, wouldn't really suggest as a toy for little kids.

As of this review i have a complete set of series 1 and the only one that im missing to complete series 2 is James potter so far the 2 that proved most difficult were the death eater from series 1 and JAMES POTTER from series 2... NOTE I  PROMISE THAT I DONT HAVE AN ADDICTION TO THESE WANDS BUT I MIGHT HAVE AN ADDICTION TO THESE WANDS...

Well, I bought series 1 last year for friends of mine for christmas. I bought more this year, series 2, and blown away by the variety I received. First order this year, I ended up ordering 8 wands (2 for me, and the other 6 for friends), and only 1 was a duplicate. Afterwards, I noticed no one received the Dumbledore wand, so my inner nerd came out, and I ordered 6 more for myself. Every single wand I received was different. I now have 8 out of the 9 wands of the collection. I felt like a kid and couldnât be more excited. And yes, I did receive a Dumbledore wand, the only one I am missing now is Ginny Weasley. I probably wonât order more (one of my friends ended up getting the Ginny wand), but it was still really exciting and fun to open each one and find out which one I got. I am just amazed by the fact that I received such a variety. Definitely looking forward to this upcoming yearâs new series, and most definitely recommend for any child/adult for holidays or birthdays. Best fun gift I chose to buy!

I ordered these and received Series 1 wands! I didn't notice at first and let my kids tear apart 4 boxes only to get 2 Hermione wands and 2 Voldemort wands.  I don't think I can return them now because they are all opened.
